Fido’s Freebie Friday Prepares for a Book Signing

We’re making plans for next week’s Canyon of the Eagles book signing–and would like to invite any of you in the area to come along and join the fun! The resort, located northwest of Austin in the Texas Hill Country, is hosting its annual Dog Days of Summer with special events every weekend during August. On Saturday, August 9 from 10-2, we’ll be hosting a booksigning and talking about our favorite two topics: dogs and travel!

The resort is waiving its pet fee during the month of August, and day visitors are welcome, too. (Day visitors pay admission to the Lower Colorado River Park.) Of course, Irie and Tiki will be traveling along with us, and I know they hope to meet many people and their pups!

The resort is very dog-friendly (it’s included in our DogTipper’s Texas with Dogs guidebook), and they have a wide range of outdoor activities that we’re looking forward to enjoying on our Friday night stay. We hope some of you can make it out to see us and to enjoy the Hill Country!
