Barbara Mandrell, Clare Bowen to Emcee Pet Adoption Fair

A queen of country music and an actress who portrays a country star on the rise in the hit ABC series Nashville will put a song in the hearts of animal lovers when they act as honorary emcees at Tennessee’s largest pet adoption fair.

Making an encore appearance as a host of the event, Country Music Hall of Fame member/multi-pet parent Barbara Mandrell will be joined by TV star Clare Bowen (known to fans of Nashville for her role as Scarlett O’Connor), celebrity pet expert Harrison Forbes and Dr. Tiffany Bierer at the sixth annual Mars Petcare Adoption Fair to shine a spotlight on adorable adoptables from more than 30 area shelters and rescue organizations who will be looking for forever families to love.

Along with pet adoptions, attendees can also enjoy four hours filled with K-9 demonstrations; a visit by the Nashville Predators Ice Hockey team mascot, Gnash; and tasty treats purchased from a variety of food trucks.
