Stars to Attend Louie’s Legacy Fundraiser
Taking place November 21st at The Hilton Garden Inn Staten Island, the third annual Blue Gala will begin by rolling out the red carpet for photo ops, followed by the opportunity to:
- feast on tasty treats
- trip the light fantastic on the dance floor
- place bids in a silent auction
- try to win a basket raffle
- let a caricature artist capture your cuteness in a portrait
- pose for posterity in a photo booth
The animal-loving luminaries scheduled to party for the paws cause include:
- The evening’s co-hosts, Ellie Lee of VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live and singer/DJ Vinnie Medugno
- Angela “Big Ang” Raiola from the VH1 reality series Mob Wives and Miami Monkey
- Famed photographer Mike Ruiz and some of the male models who became role models by posing with adorable, adoptable pups for the 2015 Hunks and Hounds fundraising calendar. (The models will be signing copies of the just unleashed calendar at the event.)
- Michelle Butreau, co-host of VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live
- Singer France Joli, who topped the charts during the disco era with her hit “Come To Me.”
- Singer/songwriter Lori Michaels
- Reina, the New York-born Queen of Dance
- The synth pop group Lime
Dog devotees will be tickled pink to know that all of the proceeds from the Blue Gala will benefit companion animals in the care of Louie’s Legacy, a non-profit organization located in Cincinnati, Ohio and Staten Island, New York which rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes dogs and cats from high-kill shelters. In 2013, more than 1,000 canines and cats found forever pet parents thanks to the organization’s efforts.
Tickets: $90 per person, $170 for a couple (Note: Deadline for purchasing a ticket to the swank soiree is November 14th.)
