Insomniac Sale Picks: Trouser Jeans

*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! Alyson requested a few picks for trouser jeans, so here we go:

Banana Republic Denim Trouser – was $89.50, now $42

At least in the fall, BR typically has a pair or two of trouser jeans available. This style is a mid-rise with all the typical trouser details including hook-and-bar closure, wide leg, and back welt pockets. Available in this dark wash as well as a medium blue wash in sizes 0 – 16, including short and regular inseams and petite and tall sizes. This dark wash pair is similar and available in sizes 14W – 24W.

Lee Curvy Fit Maxwell Trouser – was $58, now $36.99

Since this is a curvy fit, it’s designed for a figure with larger hips and butt than waist – expect the waistband to curve inward to avoid gapping, a feature that may not work on straighter figures. A great option for curvy builds, though, with a 9.875″ front rise, top entry front pockets, and the classic wide trouser leg. Available in this Imperial Blue dark was as well as a slightly lighter Indigo rinse in sizes 4 – 18 in three inseam lengths. Also in plus sizes 16W – 24W in two hem lengths. This style also comes in several non-denim colors and options.

NYDJ Wynonna Trouser in La Crescenta Wash – was $120, now $83.99

I definitely prefer dark wash trouser jeans, but the two pairs above are SUPER dark. These NYDJ trousers have a bit of sanding and shading for a slightly more jean-y look. Front slash pockets and faux welt pockets in back. Available in sizes 0 – 18, sold out in 12 and 14. Also in plus sizes 14W – 24W.

Loft Modern Trouser Jean – was $79.50, now $39.50

Less dressy with the button-through flap pockets in front, but still trouser-y with their wide leg shape and sleek styling. A great option if you want trouser styling for weekend or casual wear. They’ve got a 33″ inseam, but since trouser jeans look fab with heels that could be perfect for some! Available in sizes 24 – 32 (waist measurements). Couldn’t find a similar plus style but these are a lighter wash in 14W – 24W and these come in five washes in 14W – 24W including petite lengths.

Other not-currently-on-sale resources for trouser jeans:

1. NYDJ – Consistently stocks trouser jeans in regular, petite, and plus sizes. In addition to the ones above, love this dark wash pair.
2. Macy’s – Several classic dark washes in regular and plus sizes. These straight leg trousers have a slightly slimmer silhouette than most.
3. Nordstrom – I typically see trouser jeans at Banana Republic and Ann Taylor, but neither delivered more than one style this time. Nordstrom is mostly carrying the same brands as other sources, but a few others are sprinkled in.
