Another unexpected shift in my dressing preferences? Allowing some brassy and bronze-y colors into the fold. I was a strictly silver girl for YEARS, but am finding that some warm gold tones work really well with this more subdued palette.

The bronze flats are a couple of years old and snuck in before I even considered allowing any brass jewelry into my collection, and have been among my most worn and useful shoes. Metallic flats, friends. So much more versatile than you might think!
