Like many kids, I grew up making rainbow tie dye shirts at summer camp, and associated them with youth. And eventually Deadheads. But now I totally dig black tie dye prints, and this one is no exception. Kinda looks like BADASS SNOW. Or maybe polluted snow. OK, let’s step off that train of thought …

My poor sparkly leggings have now been worn and washed so many times that they’re somewhere between leggings and tights. I’ve ordered the pair I linked to above – these high-waisted ones – and am hoping they’ll have the same subtle sparkle. My cotton leggings just get pilly and gross after a couple of years of wear, but these seem to be getting gradually thinner. Eventually, I guess, they will BECOME tights. A most unexpected transformation.
