Sunday Orchids

My parents are both big on gardening. They love nothing more than to be out in the garden making our front and back yards look beautiful (last year they even won a prize in a citywide garden competition). Yet, in the wintertime, the gardening comes to a standstill, well, at least for my dad. My mom continues her relationship with the flowers she grows inside. Over the past few weeks her orchids have been growing like crazy. We have so many orchids all over the house, and my mom treats them like little babies (no wonder they bloom so often -- and beautifully). I thought I would share some pretty photos I took of the orchids. They really are helping to brighten the house considering it feels like summer was forever ago.
