I used the new Petite Petals stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! 2014 Occasions Catalog to create my card today. I love those little flowers and the matching punch. You can purchase them as a bundle and save 15% too, which makes it even better!! :)

My card design was inspired by the CAS(E) this Sketch #58.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the A Dozen Thoughts stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Whisper White Panel. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to make sure that I stamped it fairly straight.

Then I added a thin strip of Kaleidoscope DSP (available Jan 3) under the sentiment and I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock. I adhered the layered panel to a Strawberry Slush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the images from the Petite Petals stamp set (available Jan 3) in Strawberry Slush ink and punched them out with the matching Petite Petals Punch (available Jan 3). I adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I punched three circles from Crushed Curry card stock using the Owl Builder Punch and I adhered them over the flowers. I finished the card front by adding a Bermuda Bay Candy Dot from the Brights Candy Dots pack to the center of each flower.

I finished the inside of the card by adhering a strip of the Kaleidoscope DSP to a Whisper White panel, then adding a Petite Petals punched image. To keep the bulk down inside the card, I used the Owl Builder Punch for the Crushed Curry circle and the Cupcake Builder Punch for the Bermuda Bay circle.
