Autumn table

While we can’t stop thinking about Christmas, we know we should stick to the present and enjoy what is left from Autumn. We’ve been having the most amazing weather lately: cold crispy air and bright blue skies. This year Autumn is more beautiful than ever! And to celebrate that, we’ve prepared a lovely but very simple Autumn table to inspire you. Gather a couple of friends and enjoy a cosy lunch at home!
We decided to arrange a very uncomplicated centerpiece. Since our table is not that big, long centerpieces are out of the question, that’s why we chose this vintage rustic vase, adorned with a simple rope. We filled the vase with little dry pine cones and dry hydrangeas. Easy and pretty.
The color palette of the table was decided by this beautiful tablecloth that we bought in our last trip to Amsterdam in one of our favourite shops, Dille et Kamille. The bright yellow shade was perfect for the happy atmosphere we wanted to create. We added golden accents with the cutlery and the plate chargers (similar here and here) to warm up the table. The dark colours of the center piece were the perfect contrast to balance the final result.
We save four little pine cones to make the place cards. This is also a really simple DIY: you just need a little bit of crown thread, a brown tag and a pine cone. Not rocket science. But if you feel spendy, you can buy some nice napking rings like these ones.

Glasses are Dille et Kamille and wineglasses were a present from my grandmother. The plates were a present too (what can I say, people know I love homey presents) but you can find similar ones in Zara Home, as well as the coasters. We hope you’ve enjoyed this post and feel inspired to create your very own Autumn table. Have you got any nice ideas that we can copy, I mean, borrow? ;) Please share in the comments below!
