Atop Essauouira
I think my favorite city so far in Morocco in terms of beauty has got to be Essaouira. Dubbed the windy city, it did not disappoint. Our hotel, which was situated right by the beach meant close approximation to sand, sun, and balmy breezes. What was more beautiful though were the roof tops of the Medina (or city center). We were lucky enough to stumble upon this one, which despite the incredible images that my friend Koo captured, is not fully done justice. I could have perched on that corner all day. Just absorbing.
