Encore in Fes
Not to be outdone by the roof tops of Essaouira, Fes was yet another feast for the eyes from the top floor. Like every other city we went to, I found Fes to be inspiring, humbling and above all, centering. From the beautiful tiled walls and floors to the people who made our experience so special. I was inspired. It’s only now that the ten day trip is really sinking in. All the sights, sounds, and smells of an exotic place–before only seen through pictures and experienced anecdotally–become real. I remember sitting on that ledge and just feeling immense gratitude for everything, and thinking Wow. Just wow.
