Below are my absolute favorite materials for social skills:

(1) Buddy Talk

Buddy Talk is great for conversation starters, even for those hard to engage teenagers!! Very portable!

(2) All About Social Skills – Packet One

This is a packet I created recently. I plan to make similar ones targeting other social skills in the future, but I love using social stories and activities to teach social skills, hence why I made this packet!

(3) Apps

I couldn’t pick just one, so I picked two. My favorites are Conversation Therappy (Tactus Therapy) and Conversation Builder (Mobile Education Store). Click on the images above to check out each.

(4) Elephant and Piggie Books

So many of these books talk about important social skills in an easy to understand and hilarious way! These have to be my all time, absolute favorite thing to do in speech therapy, so if you don’t own these books, check out the ones above!! You will not be sorry!!
