Jo Malone Candles Post-Burn

Hands up who gets through plenty a candle throughout Winter? *raises hand* In the last few weeks I’ve been constantly burning some of my favourites, including these babies from Jo Malone. I’ll put my hand up high in the air and say Jo Malone are by far my favourite candles, sophisticated scents, great burning time, even burning throughout the candle and not to mention just look darn gorgeous.

It pains me to part with beautiful glass jars but thanks to Tijan I now have plenty of uses. She mentioned that once your candle is fully burnt, pour half a cup of hot water into the jar, for just a couple of seconds and then continue to scrape out any excess wax with a knife. If you’re left with any wax on the knife just soak it in hot water to remove! I’ve now found a happy home for my brushes, cutips and cotton pads. And incase you’re wondering about how I’m getting on with my latest JM candle – Wood Sage & Sea Salt, I’m officially half way through it. One of my all time favourite scents by far, it’s fresh and refreshing without smelling too ‘outdoorsy’ yet has a warm feeling to it that makes it perfect for the home. Plus it’s not too in your face and just lingers beautifully.
