Party-Time

This past Sunday we celebrated Avielle's Birthday with her buddies and a great party at the Zoar Ridge Stables, where she takes her riding lessons. Jenn organized the whole thing and it was a great party. We started the day with Jill, Mike, Celia, Isaac, Kim, Eric, and Sam at our place where the kids played and we ate chili, and salads, munched and had a few cocktails. Then we headed to the stables.

There was a crowed of 15 kiddies and sundry parents. The kids rode some great ponies, learned how to behave around horses, got to paint the ponies coats and nails, and got to paint a lucky horse shoe, we got to learn how to lasso, played some Simon Says, and then took a haunted (and seriously crazy, borderline scary) hayride. The weather was absolutely perfect and with the leaves a fall pallet of oranges, reds, and yellows it was gorgeous.
