...to my online acquaintances, to everyone else who I may not know personally yet who are reading this and to strangers who are not...I don't know, I guess I just wanted to connect. I wanted to say Hello and How are you?

Yesterday was supposed to be a joyous day. We live in a western suburb of Boston. In the end, the day started joyously and ended with sadness. Of course we all know these types of things are happening all over the world. We are not blind, we care about more than our own backyard. These types of events are happening here at home but also to people who are not Americans and who are no less special and important.

Have you all been thinking about the same things I have?

Can we be kinder? Can we be more open? Can we be more considerate? Can we be a little more selfless? To everyone?

I think we can. I really do. I really, truly do.

I'm certainly going to try. I believe you will too.
