Wear This/Drink That: True Blood

Confession: I recently binge watched all six seasons of True Blood so I could watch tonight’s season seven premiere with the rest of the world. Needless to say, I’m completely addicted to the show now and thankfully I’m not alone. The hit HBO show has inspired the beauty world and spurred a ton of fun products including a collection of lip and nail treats by famed manicurist Deborah Lippmann. What better cocktail to pair it with than a vamp-glam Plasmapolitan? Take a sip of this cocktail every time Bill says “Sookie” tonight and I guarantee you will feel as fabulous as Lafayette within the first ten minutes.

Drink That: The Plasmapolitan

A spin on the classic Cosmo, swapping out the cranberry juice with some blood orange juice. See what I did there?

2 oz vodka

1 oz Blood Orange juice

½ oz Triple Sec

Splash of lime juice

Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Cheers!
