Trend Spotlight: Sparkle and Texture

We had the pleasure of going backstage at the fall 2014 Tracy Reese show when we were in New York for Fashion Week and we had a blast watching Tracy’s team of stylists bring the models’ looks together. The Ouidad team created bold texture that you can recreate at home by amping up your hair’s natural texture if it has some wave or curl to it…Or you create some bold waves using a flat iron. This is a carefree style that doesn’t require precision. So, have fun with it!

The hair wasn’t the only star at Tracy’s show…We couldn’t take our eyes off the glamorous pieces that we caught a glimpse of. Abstract prints played with sparkle and relaxed silhouettes. The full skirted party dresses and glitzy cocktail ready attire definitely struck my fancy. You KNOW how much I love sparkle! Even when presenting more casual designs, Tracy’s looks had an element of glamour to them in the form of metallic mules and boots, as well as glitter bedecked loafers.
