Plants Behaviour

It's soamazing that plants have no ears nor eyes but they can find thier own food. They lack a brain but some scientists think they can communicate cooperate and even wage war! However, not everyone belives there is a social side to pants and if you talk to any regular about plants behaviour, he would think you're insane and if you talk about that with a scientist he will think you're insane and wrong. The idea of plant behaving like animals seems to be a little far out to the fast majority of people. In fact, there is one particular thing i'm certain is accurate which is: plants do move and they do behave.

One of the ways plants behave is through growth. But does all this growth constitute behaviour? Are the moves of plants understood by animals? Well, when an unsuspecting insect gets inside a venus flytrap, all it takes is the plant's strip hairs and the trap is done leaving the bug slowly digested inside providing the plant with much needed nutients unless, of course, a lucky victim manages to escape. For years, we've just assumed that the flytrap was the exeption that proved the rule plants don't behave but it turns out we're wrong. What people don't know is that all plants are doing that. Plants are not necessarily eating living organisms but they are having elaborite behaviour above ground and below ground but they are slower than the snapping of the flytrap or just happening in a way that we can't see them.

All plants have complex feeding behaviours. In fact, every plant on Earth is for constant hunt for food and they don't need just sunlight to thrive. They also need nutrients, food that lies in the hidden world that's just below our feet. As much as 80% of the plant's total mass lives below the ground is a secret world scientists once called the black box. With the aid of new technology, we're now exploring that world and discovering that when it comes to finding food, plant roots are lot more animal like than we ever imagined. So how do plants find the food they are looking for both above the ground and below it with no eyes no ears?

Well, the feeding habit of the snake like vine which has no roots, also called the daughter plant, and can't produce its own food so it lives entirely of a host plant and it has only 72 hours to find that host or it dies. So amazing how it finds its host without having eyes or feet and select a particular plant. The secret of all that is the plants secret language based on chemical substances and oders released by the plants each time they feel stress or attack. They are like a chemical equivalent of a scream and that's manifested ,for instance, in the smell of freshly cut grass on your yard or the smell of flowers in your vase. Plants are actively engaged in the environment in wich they live and respond to almost every factor around them. It's a really dynamic system so if your pass by a plant and rip off one of its parts, a leaf for example, that very plant will react. When you think about this whole process from the plant's point of view it is like someone came over to you and basically ate some of your body, so that damaged plant is likely starting to change its deffesive chemistry.
