Stationery: { Valentines Card Holders }

Happy Friday! Are you getting ready to put your valentines together? This is the first year I’d like to give out valentine’s cards to teachers and staff at my son’s school. These little cards are the perfect size to hold a small sentiment and a gift card! Please take a look below at brief instructions and materials.

The photo above shows two “heart cards” glued together. I cut these at Ben Franklins crafts die cut center. Ben Franklins in Redmond WA has a huge selection of dies that make the crafting process fast and enjoyable. My favorite part of this craft is choosing the paper. I take a good hour to peruse the huge selection of prints, patterns, and various motifs for paper.

Chevron and pink paper were the winners. I also made sticker seals using a cloud punch and a Xyron sticker maker. I purchased both tools at Amazon ;)

This is the interior for one of the cards. I used a rubber stamp and dark grey ink which complemented the pink paper perfectly.

I love these and I can’t wait to give them out on Valentine’s day. What do you think? Valentine’s day is becoming my favorite holiday to make crafts for ;) Aside from Christmas of course. Do you buy valentines or do you make them? I hope I’ve inspired you to make some cards and enjoy a relaxing crafting morning, afternoon or evening! As always, I love hearing from you! Please comment below, I cherish every single comment you write for me . If you’d like to receive more crafts like this via email, please click on the “follow” button on the right hand column. Just a few days for V-day! I can’t wait!
