Have you worked with leather materials before? This is my first craft working with leather and a few silver studs. I found my supplies during one of my outings at Ben Franklins in Redmond. If you are familiar with my crafts, I strive to “edit” unnecessary steps and maximize my time and yours! Please take a look below for materials and tutorial. I’m SO excited to wear my new accessories!
I found a new tool from Martha Stewart called “Crafts Screw Punch”. This tool will punch three different sizes of circles on paper, cardboard, foam, fabric, wood and even leather! It is super easy to use. Next, I picked two colors of leather straps (found at Ben Franklins) small bag of silver studs, one silver metallic sharpie, a “galaxy” white marker by American Crafts and two masks. (I used “Mister Huey’s” mask by Studio Calico).
This project took about one hour total from start to finish! Though I did spend half and hour trying different markers and colors. What do you think? I hope I have inspired you to create a few accessories for spring! My favorite color is the pink cuff, but I think the polka dots one will go well with any outfit! As always I’m super thankful for you and visiting my blog. If you are not following my blog yet please click on the “follow kraft&mint” button on the right column ;) Spring is finally here! Enjoy this new season!
