Quick Craft: { 1 Step DIY Easter Eggs }

I had to share this craft with you this evening! I’ve been slowly decorating my home for Easter with a subtle palette of whites, gold and light wood. The eggs above are very easy to do, in fact, you must be thinking, “Just one step?” to make these eggs? Yes! Please take a below at another version for Easter eggs, materials and “secret” on how I made these ;)

By now you know I delight in designing quick and impactful crafts. Honestly, everyone gets 24 hours a day and I strive to be efficient with the little spare time I have in this season of life ;) To make these eggs I used two materials: wooden eggs and rub-ons. That’s it! I found a set of wooden eggs on Amazon a while ago. The eggs turned out to be nicer than I expected with a soft, smooth finish. I did not want to “cover” the wood surface too much so I decided to use rub-ons. Rub-ons are designed primarily for a flat surface, but they can also work well on a rounded surface like these eggs. The rub-ons work like a sticker, first you cut around the shape you want to use and then peel it like a sticker. Then you press the rub-on on the egg and use a craft stick to transfer it onto the egg. That’s it! Please take a look at a list for materials I used below. I hope I have inspired you to make a set of Easter eggs for home decor. I love mine and can’t wait to host an Easter gathering! As always, I am very thankful for your readership and comments ;)

Materials:*

  1. Wooden eggs found at Amazon
  2. Jenni Bowlin feathers rub-ons (sold out in “gold”, gasp) but you can find silver ones at Jenni Bowlins shop.
  3. Basic Grey Designer Rub-ons in French White also found at Amazon
