“Depression tells you everything is nothing and you are nothing so why even do anything because it’s nothing and you couldn’t do it anyways, you nothing. I am trying to recognize that I can’t fix this in a day nor can I just be happy, I am trying to recognize that I can get closer to happy eventually though, I am trying to recognize that despite what depression tells you, this is not forever, I am not forever damaged. I swam out too far really late in the day and now I’ve got to swim back, one stroke at a time. I think I can at least see the sun coming up though.”
