Fairborn woman reported missing following child endangering charges -

Solomon McLafferty called police Thursday, April 17, to first report that his wife, Tanya M. McLafferty, 35, had left a note saying she couldn’t sleep and she was going for a drive. After he had not heard from her, the husband called police again just before 9 a.m. Friday.

“He felt she was depressed due to her recent arrest for child endangering on April 15,” said Sgt. Mark Stannard. Mr. and Mrs. McLafferty were each charged with three counts of endangering children Tuesday for the unsanitary conditions in their 26 East Hebble Ave. home. Fairborn police officers were dispatched to the residence on a 911 hang-up call and found cat feces and feces from dirty diapers on the floor throughout the home. Dirty clothes, dishes, sinks, bathtubs, and toilets were prevalent and made the residence uninhabitable.
