One of the many things that I’ve learned from working for myself is that knowledge belongs to everyone (thanks, internet) and it’s important to pass it on whenever possible. It’s also why I have a soft spot for CUT for EVANS, a collection born from competition between design students from Nottingham Trent and Kingston University. Two winners, Eve Turley and Ellie Northway, won the £1,000 cash prize and the opportunity to have EVANS include their pieces into the capsule collection.
The two designers’ unique points of view came together to create an exciting 11 piece collection comprised of chunky knits and kaleidoscopic prints. Prices range from $65 to $99.50 for the limited edition collection.
My favorite pieces come from Eve Turley, like the Longline Sleeveless Cardigan (above, $85), and the Chiffon Sleeveless Cardigan ($75). That’s not to diminish the vibrancy of Ellie Northway’s beautiful prints, like the Digital Print Bomber Jacket ($99.50) and the Multicolored Contrast Digital Print Dress ($99.50).
