Turtle.

The days in LA start off rather chilly and it slowly starts warming… hence the turtle neck on top and mini on the bottom, so don’t get confused.

Mini skirts have always been that one item where I kind of have a love/hate relationship with. Do you guys feel the same? I’ve never really been a fan because I feel like I can’t pull them off ( I always feel like I look so frumpy!) but then you find a good one where it makes you feel like “okay, I can pull this off afterall.” I think for my body type, I have to pair the mini with something more loose on top like an oversized button up or a chunky knit. It helps balance my body and it looks more proportionate!

The contrast between a knit paired with a mini definitely spices things up a bit!

TIP: Make sure to look for denim mini skirts that:

  • Are the perfect length for your body type – not too short or too long.
  • Have awesome hardware for those extra cool details.
  • Have back pockets because it helps accentuate your butt!

Denim skirts are definitely back… don’t be afraid to experiment and have fun! See you in my next post! xx
