Yea us girls are good at this! We assume people (guys especially) GET why we are irritated with a situation. Maybe it’s just me, but I tend to assume people understand a circumstance without words being exchanged. How is that possible without verbal communication? EXACTLY.. it isn’t! Be honest with yourself, be honest with others, and don’t shove communication under the rug.. address it. I was once told not to be a peace keeper, but instead a peace maker. What’s the difference you ask? A peace keeper maintains the peace by ignoring or setting aside conflict. A peace maker addresses conflict, and resolves the root of the issue. Communicate from a heart of love, with an assertive and happy disposition.. you will respect yourself, and others will too! XX, The Golden Girls
