Summer Layers

from He Spoke Style - Men's Style, Fashion, Grooming, Tips and Advice

Layering is something we usually reserve for spring, fall, and winter. And honestly, it’s probably the last style-related item on anyone’s mind during the summertime. Keep the layers light, though, and it’s something that can work.

Dressing in layers is a way to stay comfortable while managing changes in temperature. In the fall and winter, I want to bundle up to be warm outside, but will then shed some of those layers when I’m indoors so I don’t sweat through them. In the summer, obviously I want to stay cool outside, but it’s inside that is often way too cold thanks to the miracle of AC, which, depending on where I’m heading, is why I might choose to throw on a light layer. Like when I take the train.
