Edinburgh II

After enough time in Edinburgh Castle we found a little restaurant where we could warm ourselves a bit. We tried some really Scottish food as well as mead.

We slowly made our way down to the Christmas market after taking our mandatory selfies with my camera and Aolai’s phone. Two attention whores together is a good combination, and you don’t have to feel too awkward about taking pictures of yourself or getting your pictures taken of you- as both of you knows the other one totally understand you and think it’s normal.

The Christmas market was really cute, and there were a lot of cute things for to get your hands on here. The only complaint we had, was that some lady that checked Aolai’s passport (id check for buying some warm chocolate with alcohol in) forgot to give it back to her- which we didn’t notice before the next day. We tried not to panic tho, and after visiting the Australian Embassy we found it again at the Christmas market. So all was good.

Our last stop before heading to the airport was a cute little coffee place up the hills. Oh, I would love going back to Scotland during summer. Going on a road trip here would be totally awesome!
