Norway

I should have done this post months ago, but it took me some time to select some pictures from the lots and lots we did (all of them amazing) in our trip to the beautiful Norway last August. We went there with some friends for a wonderful week discovering one of the most gorgeous places I've ever been.

Debería de haber hecho este post meses atrás, pero me ha llevado tiempo el hacer una selección de las muchísimas y muchísimas fotos que hicimos (todas ellas preciosas) en nuestro viaje a la hermosa Noruega el pasado Agosto. Fuimos allí con unos amigos para pasar una fantástica semana, descubriendo uno de lo lugares más bonitos en los que he estado.

The plane landed in Stavanger, where we spent half a day and one night, and the following morning we took the car we had hired and started our road trip visiting just a small (but big) part of such a large country. Our next stop was the Preikestolen, where we had put our hiking clothes on to for a two-hours walking to arrive to the top of the Pulpit Rock and, of course almost two more hours to arrive back to the car park. Undoubtely, it totally worths. The views are like heaven; I've never seen something like this before.

El avión nos llevó a Stavanger, donde pasamos mediodía y una noche. A la mañana siguiente fuimos a buscar los coches que habíamos alquilado y empezamos nuestro viaje en carretera, recorriendo una pequeña-gran parte de un país tan enorme. Nuestra siguiente parada fue el parking Preikestolen, donde, bien preparados con nuestras botas de montaña, empezamos una excursión de 2 horas a pie para llegar al Púlpito: una gran roca saliente en lo alto de un fiordo. Las vistas eran espectaculares, lo nunca visto. El cansancio se nos pasó de golpe, todo había valido la pena una vez llegados allí arriba. La bajada fue lo más cansado, íbamos cada uno a su ritmo y ya nos encontramos todos en el coche prácticamente.

We spent the night in an apartment in Hovden and next day we kept on with our road trip, passing by Vøringfossen waterfalls and arriving to our third and last accomodation: a lovely fairytale cabin in a resort, where we spent the last three nights. From there, each day we visited different places: the city of Bergen, Jostedal Glacier, Snow Road, fjords and more fjords... We took the plane back home in Bergen. It was a fantastic trip. I think pictures talk by themselves. Today I just show you some of landscape; soon I'll make a post with more personal ones. I hope they can transport you there; they are transporting me there back again!

Pasamos la noche en un apartamento en Hovden y al día siguiente seguimos con nuestro viaje por carretera, pasando por las impresionantes cascadas de Vøringfossen, y llegando a nuestra tercer y último apartamento, donde pasamos las 4 noches siguientes. Cada día fuimos haciendo distintos viajes a visitar otros lugares del país: la ciudad de Bergen, el imponente glaciar Jostedal, la carretera de las nieves, fiordos y más fiordos... El vuelo de vuelta lo cogimos en Bergen, donde dijimos adiós a nuestra aventura nórdica. Creo que las fotos hablan por sí solas, y no hacen falta muchas más palabras. He escogido sólo fotos de paisajes para este post; en unos días os enseño otro con alguna más personales. Espero que os transporten allí; viéndolas me están llevando allí de nuevo.
