Newcastle Does Vintage

The glorious and sunny Bank Holiday this past weekend gave me the chance to pop into Newcastle city centre's historic Theatre Royal to experience the Britain Does Vintage, Vintage Fair. The most perfect setting for a vintage fair, this old building has so much history to it with many grand details that proved to be the most stunning backdrop to a whole three floors of vintage goods. The fair started at 10.30am, I didn't manage to get there until early afternoon, but the whole building was bursting at the seams with shoppers looking to find that elusive something special. There was so much to choose from, with collectables, accessories and clothing galore. Armed with my camera, there was a perfect picture around every corner. Climbing up the decorated-with-bunting stairs, I discovered a tea room and even some dance classes, if learning Lindy Jazz is your thing. The best vintage fair I have been to, there was plenty to see and do to keep entertained for hours. Britain Does Vintage host various fairs around the UK, so be sure to check out their website to find one near you.
