[fall]ing into J.Crew. (see what I did there?)

I’ve decided that in my next life, I’d like to live in a J.Crew fall catalogue. Is that possible? Can we make that happen? They’re killin’ me with their perfect fall colors, prints and textures right now. And that whole “25% your entire purchase” nonsense from a couple weeks ago didn’t help either. I ended up with a darling wool mini and these Minnies in the perfect shade of cabernet. Because we all know I love minis. And Minnies. And cabernet. Did you get that?

The Minnies were already my favorite pant for work (I also have them in black and red), but the new colors in bi-stretch wool are so perfect for fall. They are cut a bit longer than the traditional Minnies, so I had to get them hemmed a few inches, but the fit is perfect otherwise. They actually work well under boots (I tried it, of course), but I think I’ll typically pair them with pretty pumps like so.

Speaking of pretty pumps, can we give a big three cheers to my dad for picking out these gorgeous J.Crew Etta heels for my birthday? All by himself. No hints. I know, I know, lucky girl.
