FASHION: Muted Neons & Pastels

Sticking on yesterday’s theme of muted neons and pastels I thought I would carry on in the fashion world. I wear pastels all year round (not just in Spring), but this is the time of year when the stores are releasing lots of new pastel/muted neon designs. Might as well stock up now for your pastel fix throughout the year! Shopper’s logic?

Once I started searching for colourful clothes it was hard to stop! It seems like the pastel trend for Spring isn’t going to die off anytime soon. Last year I was all about the mint green and lilac, but this Spring I am really digging orange! It’s funny because I used to despise that colour, but now I can’t get enough of it! I find the best way to wear pastels/muted neons is to pair it with lots of neutrals. I don’t want to look like a big fluffy piece of cotton candy, so I try to keep my shoes/trousers etc. more on the neutral side and usually with bright makeup for some reason? Not sure if there area any ‘real fashion rules’ when it comes to wearing pastels, but that’s what works for me!

What do you think of my selection?
Too bad that Sophie Hulme bag comes with such a hefty price tag! It was tooooo cute to ignore.
