Handbag Staple: Dior Lip Glow

It’s about time I dedicated a post to these babes! If there’s one thing I am truly hooked on it’s tinted lip balms. Why do I think they’re so amazing? I don’t know and I don’t care. What am I even saying right now? When I first discovered the Dior Rose range (nail polish, blush etc.) I…well I bought everything…heh. I love rose products, so I was already going to be suckered into it no matter what.

The fascinating thing about these lip products is that they apparently work with the chemistry of your lips to create a personalised shade. I love that everyone will get a different look with these balms that will suit them perfectly. On myself I find the pink shade goes a neutral, sheer, but bright rose and the orange shade goes kind of deep (does that make sense?).

They’re also incredibly moisturising which is why I refer to them as balms. They have mango butter inside as well as SPF 10 to help protect against the sun. The packaging is so gorgeous…perhaps one of my favourite lipstick tubes because it’s chic, cute, feminine, but still quite understated.

This is a great product for someone on the go who likes to keep it natural (but a bit better), doesn’t like a lot of fuss and doesn’t want to risk having lipstick on their teeth. I always have one either in my coat pocket or in my handbag just in case.
