Afternoon Tea with Tarte!

A few weeks ago Amelia and I were invited to a tea party with one of our favourite makeup brands…Tarte! While Tarte is sold in the UK (exclusively via QVC) it was so great to meet a couple of the girls who work with the brand and chat all things beauty! You might remember my entire Brand Focus video I dedicated to Tarte (watch here) and since that time I’ve only fell more in love with their products. Tarte is a cruelty free beauty brand (with some entirely vegen products) that range from skincare, to cosmetics to beauty tools. Besides being absolutely obsessed with their cute and colourful packaging, the products themselves pack a lot of punch!

Anyway, the Tarte girls were visiting London for a few days and asked if we could meet up for the Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea at The Sanderson Hotel. I have always wanted to go, so I jumped at the chance! It’s such a relaxed and chilled out environment to spend a couple of hours and the theme is too cute! The menu is inside a vintage book, sugar is located inside a music box and you get to choose from a unique variety of teas (we all chose Apple Pie tea)! Once the tea arrived at the table they brought out two huge trays of sandwiches and sweets and since all four of us are social media addicts we spent a good 20 minutes photographing everything. It was such a great experience and I think I’m going to take my mom here when she comes to London later in the month. Shh..don’t tell her though!

So what was the insider scoop? Tarte is releasing some pretty beautiful gifts in time for Christmas time (eek, the C word!) including a limited edition pearly eyelash curler, a LipSurgence set, a new brow product and OMG they even have a limited edition blush set coming out (my faves).
