Five To Follow: Disney’s The Pirate Fairy & Favorite Pinterest Boards

My husband and I spent the first half of our honeymoon at Disney World. Never having visited as a child, it was my first time and I completely loved it. I totally became one of THOSE Disney people, the ones who really do think that Disney World is one of the most magical places on Earth.

#ThrowbackThursday – on our honeymoon at Disney World – so young, so blonde!

Obviously, I can’t wait to take Scarlette, what with her love of all things Mickey Mouse and Buzz Lightyear and so it’s possible that I may have several Pinterest boards dedicated to all things Disney, like this one on Disney Vacation Tips. I’m trying to decide if she will remember the trip if we plan it about a year from now, when she would be four and a half. What are your thoughts, fellow Disney lovers?

So when I was asked to think of my five favorite Pinterest boards to follow that embodied the All-New Tinkerbell Movie, called The Pirate Fairy (now available on Blu-ray and Digital HD), boards that celebrate adventure, magic and helping parents nurture their children’s talents I said OF COURSE. I mean, who doesn’t love Disney and Pinterest?

5 Favorite Kid-Related Pinterest Boards To Follow

#ThrowbackThursday – my niece Nixie’s Pixie Hollow Birthday Party!

* This Disney Pirate Fairy board - As you know, both of my nieces love the Disney Fairies (this summer I took them both somewhere and they had a heated discussion in the backseat about the merits of each fairy and whether Tinkerbell or Periwinkle was the best) so this is a go-to for ideas on pirate and fairy themed crafts, snacks and parties.

* This Kid Friendly Lunch & Snack Ideas Board from Stuff Parents Need - perfect for adding a little bit of magic to mealtime when you’re totally out of creative food ideas for picky eaters.

* This Parenting Tools Board from The Mom Creative – it features lots of pins with tips and tricks for encouraging your children, connecting with your kids, and also creative ideas for age appropriate chores and other great advice.

* My go-to board for spring, summer and fall is this Outdoor Activities Board For Preschoolers and Toddlers – I keep it full of fun outdoor activities such as 101 creative games with sidewalk chalk (because you can only play hopscotch so many times), bouncy bubble solution, sponge ball tag and other adventurous ideas.

* And because I think that the ultimate adventure is always one that can be found in a book, I love this Children’s Book Pinterest Board from Simple Homeschool – it’s full of favorite reads from little to big.
