My Favorite Products for ELA

It's time for the TPT Back 2 School sale. It's perfect timing for me because today is my first day back in the classroom. Time to get planning for the year.
Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite products.

My kiddos love doing these color by codes for morning work. I usually save these for Fridays but they beg to do them other days too. Best of all, they don't even realize they are learning at the same time.

I love using these pictures every day to start my reading block. It really gets the kiddos talking and using those accountable talk strategies. It really is amazing what they come up with.
During reading groups, I use my Fundamental Phonics resource to review those ever important phonics skills in a fun way.

During reading groups, my kiddos are also doing my literacy center packs. I teach them how to do the centers at the beginning of the year and my reading rotations flow pretty seamlessly for the rest of the year.

I love using these Flash Fluency cards from Stephanie Stewart with my lower readers. They are so cute and really helped one of my kiddos learn some important sight words last year.

I have to admit that I am terrible at teaching writing. I really want to improve my writing instruction this year. I am in love with the writing units from Teacher's Clubhouse. Amazing!

I love the writing journal that Denise includes in her monthly writing packs. This keeps the kids writing on a variety of different topics and they never say that they have nothing to write about.

One of my favorite products that I have ever created is my Inferencing Investigation. My kiddos love doing this unit. It is so much fun!

Last but not least, my latest Reading Street products are a labor of love. They took me forever to make but I am so excited about how my reading instruction is going to be more focused this year.

That's all for today. Don't forget that all of these products will be on sale today and tomorrow.
