Aaaaah Peace!

Howdy! Sorry I’ve been away for so long… Just wanted to share a bit of what is happening at Stringtown Home… I’ve been away for a bit, for personal reasons, and mainly to spend some quality time with the fam… Mornings spent in pjs, coffee or chocolate milk in hand, and precious moments with the ones I love…

I received the SWEETEST package in the mail from Jessica (her blog is Prairie Girl to Southern Belle). She has an etsy store, and is so stinkin’ talented!

She sent me this banner – a sweet reminder of God’s grace, and the hope that we have as believers…. He Is Risen!

She also sent this painting, and it so speaks of where I am right now…. “In The Moment”….

I’m not sure if it’s my old age (ha!), or just having a little one that is growing all too quickly, but I’m learning to savor each and every moment….

For instance…
We spent an afternoon at my parents’ picking wild flowers…

… and I spent a morning canning peach preserves – that’s therapeutic, y’all!
