INTRODUCING : YELAPITA

To continue introducing our Spring/Summer product I thought I’d move along to our newest purse – the Yelapita. For years you guys have been asking us to attach cross body straps to our clutches and so this season I worked with that feedback to create this small, essentials only, purse. Our Yelapa Tote was so popular last season that I decided to take a similar design aesthetic and translate it into something that could be worn cross body. I made sure to design the strap to be removable so this little guy can also double as a clutch. Because this is the smaller and cuter version of our Yelapa Tote the name Yelapita seemed like a natural fit (in Spanish, when you are denoting something small and/or endearing, you add the ending ‘ita/o’).

I’ve been testing this design for months (as you can see from my February NYC trip in the top photo) and love how light and easy the Yelapita is to wear – it will definitely be my purse of choice as the weather heats up this year.
