THINGS YOU CAN DO IN JAPAN FOR SPRING

1. Go to Western Japan for the first bloom of Cherry Blossom! What a perfect timing that I'll be touring around Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe this coming spring break just in time for the opening of these pink buds.

View blooming forecast here.

2. Strawberry picking. Cherry blossoms and strawberries what a combination for this blushing season. Hope I'm able to do it. If all else fails, strawberries sold in your usual Japanese supermarket is most delicious by this time. If you're wondering what a strawberry farm in Japan looks like, click here.

3. Visit Mt. Fuji and see the flowers on your way there. There are many different kind of flowers blooming, don't miss out on your chance to see wisterias, hyacinths, tulips, among many others. Previous post here.

4. Wear yukata (basically the Japanese traditional clothes similar to kimono but made out of lighter material for the warmer season) and stroll around Kyoto in it. See last year's post about it here.

5. Visit Disneyland and Disney Sea! The last time I visited Disney Sea was in 2011, I can't wait to go back again! I bet there are lots of new attractions and gimmicks for spring. See that post here.
