THE VALENTINE'S DAY AQUATIC

So here's my extremely tardy but absolutely necessary Valentine's Day post (which explains my uncharacteristic amount of pink for one outfit). I had been itching to see some underwater life for a while, and after reading the original article Blackfish was based on (I knew the actual documentary would be way too graphic), I of course had to boycott Sea World, as you should too. This is why it made so much sense to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific to ethically observe these beautiful creatures I'd never get to lay my eyes on otherwise! Each room dedicated to a different marine layer was wall-to-wall with fascinating beings. I'm sure I've visited the aquarium at some point in my life as a child, but it takes a revisit post-teens to really appreciate it. Amongst my favorites were the jellies, the adorable see otters, and the shark like looks just like the dragon Toothless, whom I named by puppy after. Enjoy!
