I have to say I am loving matte lip colours at the moment - the brighter, the better. I think they're a great way of wearing bold colour

Texture-wise, the matte shades aren't the best I've dried. They apply smoothly but once dry do tend to feel a little tight on the lips and the colour bleeds a little too. Make sure your lips are in tip top condition before applying matte colour as it'll show up every imperfection, however small - so dry lips are a definte no-no. Use a good lip balm to prep them beforehand.

The glossy shades are a better finish on the lips. Smooth, shiny and no unsightly glitter to be seen. Once they're released I'll stop by Superdrug and take a closer look.

If you're on a budget, again I'd recommend Sleek as brand to consider for picking up the latest makeup trends and finishes. You can experiment comfortably without fear of breaking the bank.
