Charlie Barton

Charlie Barton has had a studio in our wonderful building dedicated to the creative industries and having seen many artists come and go over the years, Charlie has always been one of my favourites. She creates wonderful large scale planet paintings which you can delve in to in a meditative way and looks great in people’s houses. As the lovely Sir Patrick Moore said of this piece, ‘I’ve been looking at the moon all my life, but always as a scientist. Charlie shows the moon in a new perspective, she makes the lure of the moon even more irresistible.’
