Ox Pasture Hall Hotel

Ox Pastures Hotel is a beautiful country house located near Scarbrough in the historic North Yorkshire Moors. The Hotel is set in 17 acres of picturesque grounds which is the perfect relaxation place. It is close to the sea and is easy reach of Filey, Whitby and York.

The award winning Courtyard Restaurant is the perfect stop off on a trip to the coast with wonderful views and a friendly atmosphere you will not be disappointed. I was lucky enough to sample one of their wonderful afternoon teas which consisted of a selection of sandwiches and the most amazing homemade scones and Cakes. Booking in the morning would be advisable as everything is made fresh on the day.

The staff were very accommodating too one of the girls had a gluten free diet and they specially made her some gluten free sandwiches and cake and the most amazing raspberry yogurt drink.

We then had a look round the bedrooms and I was blown away with the rustic style and homely feel of the rooms. The courtyard was well kept and I loved the decoration on the walls and the benches these little touches stuck in my head and added lots of charm.

On to the rooms every room had a wonderful view and all were decorated really homely and luxurious. All the furniture was of good quality. Solid oak drawers and beds and the bedding wasn't normal hotel bedding it perfectly matched the room and looked so comfortable.

The hotel is perfect for Weddings too creating the perfect backdrop for photos and wedding memories. The room which caught my eye something I had never seen in a hotel before and this was an open plan double room perfect for the Bride and Bridesmaids the night before the wedding. It has 2 big double beds with extra beds available and has the perfect little seating area for the makeup artist to do their work the morning of the wedding.

Just a few more photos to show you the perfect bathrooms and the courtyard of the newly built part of the Hotel. Hope my pictures gave justice to this beautiful place.

I am sorry this post was picture heavy I just couldn't leave any of them out. I fell in love with this place and If I do ever get married it will be high on my list.
Also a big bonus for me is this hotel is pet friendly and they even have a regular customer who brings a dog, cat and gerbils so they really are animal friendly.
Hope you enjoyed reading this post I know its not makeup but it is beauty non the less and I could not share this gem of a place with you.
So go on take a look here
