SACAI BACKSTAGE

There is always this ceremonial feel to attending backstage as a person behind the camera- there to observe and capture but not intervene. Especially when the backstage is early in the morning, with models rolling in and the crew focused on work, not easily disturbed and always fully focused. This was the case at Sacai backstage on one particulary rainy morning in Paris. Wett haired and with coffee to go in their hands, models quickly found their places in chairs alongside mirrors and the hair crew with Mr.Guido Paleu on helm (this time the man himself was unfortunately absent) was set to do their magic, despite early hours. The hair was kept natural and whimsical, almost boyish with that windblown effect. Mr.Guido created the look using Redken’s newly launched product , conviniently called ‘Windblown’ . After the hair was blown dry, in manner to keep the texture all models had an elastic band which was set to create natural waves, and a messy side part which gave a bit softness and a feminine touch to the look.
A really perfect hairdo for us girls in the hurry! Setting out to try it this weekend I think!
