Glammed up to Party

Even as a guest one of my favorite things about weddings is all the chances I have to dress up. From the bachelorette party to the bridal shower to the rehearsal and wedding itself theres nothing better then a reason to buy a new outfit or accessory.

I feel that a lot of brides try to find white dresses for every occasion. While I love the idea, I had a really difficult time finding any plain white dresses that I really liked.

For my own wedding I love the idea of wearing the wedding colors throughout all of the various events. Our colors are Navy Blue, Baby Pink and Silver and I wanted to try and create outfits that included these using things that were already in my closet.

Bachelorette Party

For the bachelorette party I wore a dark navy shift dress and accessorized it with touches of hot pink. The dress I bought new online from the J. Crew outlet and I plan on wearing it again for the rehearsal dinner.

Bridal Shower

This dress is very similar to the one I wore at my bridal shower. For this look I wanted to use lighter shades of the wedding colors so I selected a blue and white sundress and accessorized it with silver sandals and a fun fascinator that was a gift from one of my bridesmaids.
