The Mindful Self

Beating ourselves up on things can be really draining for our physical and psychological balance. Daily routines and situations make us easily exposed to the negative emotions in our surroundings. Instead of living in the present moment, most of us often let our thoughts control us when it would be better to have an awareness of what we are thinking about and nonjudgmental in accepting our thoughts.

Living a mindful life may help to boost our self-esteem in doing what feels right this present moment. Life often presents us many opportunities to achieve our goals. When we separate ourselves physically and mentally from the busy environment and start connecting to the well-being inside each of us, we are to be able to appreciate our own personal qualities to actually achieve these goals. Bringing attention to life enables us to act and make decisions from a loving space in the midst of any situation.

Practicing mindfulness can be a refreshing and relaxing journey. Quieting the mind by becoming aware to the way we think about life and our part in it is essential for our self-discovery.

The Women’s Mindfulness Retreat” is designed to support busy women to slow down and connect with themselves, in beautiful locations, in a fun and supportive way, whilst in the company of other like-minded women. During this retreat, Tammie Day will support you to be kind to yourself and embark on a journey of well-being.
