Valentine’s Girls Night Inspiration

You guys, I’ve been so excited to share this gorgeously pink and gold, heart-sprinkled, Valentine’s inspiration with you! Seeing as V-day is on a weekend this year, we’ve got two fabulous nights to celebrate the love: One for you and the beau, and the other? Well, a girls night of course! This Saturday, I’m hosting 10 of my best girls for a night of bubbly, girl talk and friendship celebrating and I couldn’t help but share a few of the pretty details.

Inspired by the Sugar Paper Gold Hearts Noteset, which I used as the invites, I went with a berry pink, gold and white palette. Since the cocktails will be plentiful, coasters are a must and how could I resist these scalloped ‘XO’ coasters from the J.Crew and Sugar Paper collab?

Because every party deserves balloons (whether you’re 8 or 80) I picked up some mini heart-shaped ones from Mignon Kitchen Co. to sprinkle around the bar area.

In order to save myself a bit of stress, time and moolah, I asked each girl to bring an appetizer or dessert. I’ll be doing a super-easy cheese board and gold lined cupcakes, so I’ll have plenty of time for decorating.

I love my self-inking address stamp for any holiday or celebration. It makes sending out cards and invites and whole lot easier, and pretty too! Of course, gold hearts are fun too.

I’ll be stocking the bar with bubbly and frozen berries, wine and berry sangria. Yum!

This love necklace was actually given to me by one of my girlfriends (who is also coming to the party) for my birthday last summer. I wear it almost every single day and am still obsessed with it. You bet I’ll be wearing it this weekend!

I’m really not a lipstick girl, way too much effort for me. But I do love a stain, gloss or chapstick with a hint of color. The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is my favorite, especially when I’m drinking red wine! If you’re hosting a similar girls night, considering giving these as favors if you have a little extra to spend.

Pink striped straws always make an appearance at a girly event.

For an easy start to cocktail hour, line up your glasses filled half way with frozen berries and when the girls arrive, top with bubbly!
