Sunday Spam: blue #2

Blue! My favorite color when it comes to clothing! On nails, I prefer other colors, but blue, I could live with wearing only shades of you. I do, however, have quite a few blue beauties in my collection. From time to time my nails feel blue too!

Bihun unnamed nail polish from China vs. China Glaze Blue Bells Ring (Bihun is on the left, Blue Bells Ring on the right): these two looked exactly the same in the bottle, but oh so different on the nail. I used one coat each. The Bihun polish dries matte, but looks gritty; the China Glaze stains terribly.

Inglot 992 is a lovely medium blue with a subtle purple shimmer. Two coats.

IsaDora Silk Road (1 coat over just matt divage) is a rather sheer dark blue jelly with intense multicolored sparkle.

Julie G Rock Candy is a sea foam blue textured polish. Love the sparkle!

KIKO 834 is an ice blue polish with golden shimmer. Unfortunately I needed three coats for opacity and to level it out.

Lakmé Misty Grey is a grey creme with a hint of blue and purple. 2 coats.

L’oréal Hidden Gems is a dark emerald to blue to purple textured polish. Two gorgeous coats!

nails inc cornwall (over Illamasqua Cameo) is a clear polish filled with tiny matte bar glitters in blue and white.

nails inc Garrick street is a dark blue shimmer with a duochrome color shift to purple. Very mysterious and a superb formula. 2 coats.

Nerd Lacquer Cyance Friction is a turquoise polish with intense pink shimmer, turquoise and bronze glitters. I wouldn’t dare to call it my favorite Nerd Lacquer, because I don’t want to play favorites, but it is my favorite. 2 coats.

OPI Road House Blues is a dark blue creme with just a hint of purple. 2 coats.

OPI Sonic Bloom (over butter LONDON Poole) is a sheer light blue shimmer that shimmers green or pink, depending on the light.

OPI The man with the golden gun over Zoya Neve – Neve is a royal blue shimmer, a perfect base for the tiny golden gold flakes of The man with the golden gun.

OPI Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! is a blue textured polish. If only there’d be glitter! 2 coats.

Orly Out of this World is a duochrome blue to purple glassfleck polish. Still one of the best Orly polishes! 2 coats.

Orly Sweet Peacock is a metallic blue foil. A really, really outspoken color, and I’m sure I’d love this polish if only it didn’t stain so much. 2 coats.

whimsical ideas by Pam Seuss is a lighter blue creme polish packed with tiny turquoise and bigger red and silver glitters. Adorable! 3 coats.

YSL La Lacque 137 (“Turquoise Utopique” or “Utopian Topaz”) is a blue-leaning turquoise creme. The formula is almost perfect, this is 2 coats.
