Sunday Spam: glitter toppers

In today’s Sunday Spam, all we do is check out glitter. Sounds like my kind of post!

American Apparel Galaxy (1 coat over Catrice The effect maker) is a mix of multicolored hex glitters in a clear base.

Ciaté Jewels (1 coat over essence tickets please) is a mix of holographic bar glitters in a purple tinted (but sheer) base.

Cirque Ophelia (1 coat over Essie bungle jungle) is a darker periwinkle glitter. I love this shade of blue over red!

Dance Legend Flossy 145 (1 coat over SpaRitual Transcend) consists of white bar glitters and matte pink glitters in a clear base.

different dimension more (1 coat over China Glaze Sea Spray) – I think this has long been discontinued – red heart and hex glitters mixed with iridescent glitters.

Enchanted Polish Tummy Time (1 coat over p2 golden glow) is a mix of tiny red glitters, hearts, black shredded glitter, stars, random holographic glitters and what not in a clear base. Rather arbitrary and I’d rather not have any of this stuff in my tummy…

Hits Cheescake (1 coat over color club perfect mol-ten): differently sized pink glitters in a clear base.

ILNP Up to snow good (1 coat over sally Hansen gentle blossom) is a mix of white and turquois glitters.

Love & Beauty Turquoise (2 coats over Essie watermelon) consists of turquoise glitters in a clear base. The picture is blurry because the polish smells so bad and I took a picture shortly before I fainted…

lynnderella cauldron drippings (1 coat over elevation polish black ice) has orange glitters in various shapes and sizes, mixed with the occasional red, purple, gold and green glitter. I’m not one for orange, but I couldn’t resist this one!

models own Rocket* (1 coat over Catrice Meet Rosy) is a mix of short fat red bar glitters, tiny black glitters and orange hex glitters. It looks like the floor after a sweet sixteen party where Pinatas were involved.

Models Own Dancing Queen (1 coat over Jessica Ava/New Kid in Town) – blue, green and gold glitter in a clear base. Could’ve been a bit more creative here, couldn’t we?

Models Own Hot Stuff (1 coat over BB Couture Coal Miner) is a mix of iridescent and pink shredded glitters. I really liked this by idea, but by execution it looked like the leftovers of the glitter-cutting-machine stuck in a bottle.

nails inc soho street (1 coat over Models Own Pro Candy’s Night) was my favorite multicolored glitter polish until I managed to get my hands on Deborah lippmann’s famous Happy Birthday. It’s a good substitute.

OPI Polka.com (1 coat over L’oréal Creme de Mint) is a mix of light blue, purple and magenta glitters in various sizes in a clear base. I love the look of it but hated it on me, which was really unexpected. Happens, I guess!

OPI The Living Daylights (1 coat over deborah lippmann Girls just want to have fun) is a mix of orange, turquoise, gold and silver glitters in a clear base.

Sonoma Nail Art Pink Clockwork (1 coat over Catrice green days) is a mix of silver, gold and various shades of pink glitters in a clear base. I really like this, but I’ll have to show you a different picture sometimes, this one is really washed out because of the green base color.

Sephora by OPI Go with the Flow (over KIKO 834) is a mix of slightly purple steelblue glitters in various sizes in a clear base.

Now tell me, do you like glitter toppers? Or do you prefer them in a tinted base or creme polish? Because I do hope you like glitter!
