NYC trip diary – day two
Good morning! I’m writing you from my home but I’m going to be here just for a couple of hours… My close friends are taking me away to celebrate my bachelorate :) I have no idea of what they organized for me but sure it’s gonna be so much fun! And after this little trip, I’ll be away once again with Salva on our tradition summer trip to Portugal. I love to travel but I had many trips these last two months and I can not wait anymore to stay at our new home, unpack boxes (my clothes are still packaged!), go to the beach and be back to my routine. Indeed, we have so much to do regarding our wedding! Time is running so fast and we still have to organize some details…
Talking about weddings, you know that I keep you posted on what’s going on in my life since the beginnings of this blog but when we took the decision of getting married, we decided to keep this to our privacy. Nonetheless, many of you asked me when the wedding is and because I’m beyond excited, I’m going to share a detail with you: the wedding is on October :) Can not believe that we have just three months left!!
These pictures are from our first day in New York. We went to Chelsey Market and the High Line Park, which are located in the Meatpacking district. Ester told me that we can’t miss this place and actually we loved it! Because on Sunday’s afternoon was the final football match, there were a lot of people and party vibes. Our hotel was in Soho, so we passed through Bleecker St where you can find Magnolia Bakery. If you are a huge fan of Sex and the city as I am, then you have to go there and buy a cupcake as Carrie and Miranda used to do ;) They are so yummy!

Buenos días! Os escribo ya desde mi piso en Málaga pero aquí no acaba la aventura… En menos de 3 horas me marcho otra vez de viaje pero este es muy muy especial… Mis mejores amigas me llevan de despedida de soltera! Además, enlazaré este viaje con el nuestro a Portugal de todos los veranos. No veo el día en el que la agenda esté a cero, sin nada que hacer! Lo cierto es que aunque me encanta viajar, se me han juntado muchos viajes (demasiados!) en estos dos últimos meses y necesito parar un poco en casa… Quiero volver a mi rutina del día a día, disfrutar del nuevo piso (aun tengo TODO en cajas!), ir a la playa y hacer nuestra vida veraniega que tantísimo me gusta. Además, tenemos que darle un empujón importante a los preparativos de la boda porque hemos estado tan atareados estos últimos meses, que no hemos tenido tiempo de sentarnos con tiempo a hablar algunos detalles.
Hablando de la boda, sé que os tengo siempre al tanto de mi vida y de lo que ocurre, y muchas me habéis preguntado estos últimos meses por nuestra boda. Lo cierto es que queríamos mantener nuestra fecha en privado, ya que como os conté no quería abordar ningún tema de la boda en el blog. Por supuesto, una vez se celebre os contaré cositas! Pero soy débil y la emoción me puede, así que os voy a dar un dato: La boda es en Octubre :) Sinceramente, el tiempo ha pasado volando… Hace nada estábamos en enero y justo habíamos reservado la iglesia y el banquete y ya estamos a tan sólo 3 meses de la boda!
Estas fotos son de nuestro primer día en New York city. Esther me recomendó que fuésemos a la zona de Chelsey Market en el distrito de Meatpacking y que no nos perdiésemos el High Line Park, un parque hecho en las alturas de las antiguas vías del tren. Además, como fuimos el domingo cuando se celebró la final del mundial, estaba super ambientado y además de muchos puestecitos de comida, también hay tiendas de firma. Como nuestro hotel estaba en el Soho, fuimos andando y e en el camino pasamos por la calle Bleecker. Para las amantes de Sex and the city como yo, allí es donde encontraréis Magnolia Bakery, donde Miranda y Carrie iban a comprar su cupcakes… Riquísimos pro cierto ;) Una zona muy chula y muy bonita!
